Welcome to St. Mary's Parish

We are a parish under the guidance of the religious of the Congregation of the Resurrection

Dear Parishioners and Guests,

As we look back on the 160th anniversary of our parish, we thank almighty God for the many graces received this past year, and in past generations, through the loving hands of Our Blessed Mother.

This Year marks another 160th anniversary, the apparitions of Our Lady to St. Bernadette Soubirous, at the Grotto of Massabielle, Lourdes.  Like her apparitions in Fatima, it was to a poor and unimportant child that she came, and despite ridicule, doubt, and opposition, her faithful echo of the Gospel message was heard around the world.

Just as her Son’s healing of bodily ills was a sign of His still greater power to forgive sins, the miraculous healings which continue at Lourdes to this day are signs of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s still greater message of forgiveness and hope, her ability to call her children to a genuine spiritual conversion.  In this upcoming year, which also marks the 50th anniversary of Bl. Pope Paul VI’s fearless and prophetic encyclical Humanae Vitae, may we answer her call for prayer and penance, participating in our own conversion and the conversion of others.  And may we together discover anew the peace, strength, and joy that comes from being children of Mary, the Holy Mother of God.

With Love and Prayers,
Fr. George Nowak C.R.
