Announcement for Returning to Mass June 20/21, 2020

Announcements for June 20/21 Masses:

Happy Father’s Day to all fathers in our parish and surrounding community!  May your love and sacrifices continue to let the next generation know that they are loved and this world isn’t such a scary place after all!  You have our love, prayers and support!  We also offer a belated blessing to all mothers as we will see some in the church this weekend.

Welcome back to everyone attending mass for the first time in 3 months!  We are delighted that we can pray together once again and appreciate your efforts to follow the precautions of wearing a mask, social distancing, and hand sanitizing.  We have complimentary masks if you do not have one.

Special thanks to staff members Penny, Andrew, and Rianne for going the extra mile in their work to make the largest Catholic Church in the region safe for all. Congratulations on a job well done!

Facebook Livestream will continue with some adjustments to accommodate parishioners in attendance – ie. video lighting and tripods will be removed. It won’t be as robust as it was but still able to keep us all connected for the time being.

A reminder that funerals and weddings can now take place in the church.  We can safely accommodate up to 170 people.  Memorial Masses are being planned for all those who died while the church was closed.  Details will be shared next weekend.  God bless your day!
