Associate Pastor: Fr. Dan Lobsinger, CR

Fr. Dan Lobsinger, CR was born on September 6, 1966 in Kitchener, Ontario to Gordon and Yvonne Lobsinger. He is a graduate of St. Jerome’s High School in Kitchener. He professed his first vows with the Congregation of the Resurrection on August 15, 1990 and was ordained to the Priesthood on May 11, 1996 at St. Aloysius Church in Kitchener, Ontario by Most Rev. Thomas Lobsinger, O.M.I, D.D.

His earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Waterloo in 1989 and a Master of Divinity at St. Michael’s College in Toronto in 1994. In 2016, he earned a Certificate in Fundamentals of Addiction from Fanshawe College.

Fr. Dan’s hobbies include biking, golf, listening to music and he has a love for history.

His Ministerial experience to this date has been primarily in pastoral positions in the following parishes:

Pius Parish in Brantford (1996-98)
Francis Parish in Kitchener (1999-2003)
Guardian Angels Parish in Louisville, Kentucky (2003-2010)
Agatha Parish in St. Agatha Ontario (2010-2018)

Fr. Dan has served his Religious Community in various capacities that include the International Formation Commission and currently serves on the Chapter Steering Committees and as Local Superior of his Religious Canonical House.

He has now has taken up the position as Associate Pastor of St. Mary’s Parish in Kitchener, as well as the Vocation Director of the Congregation of the Resurrection.
