Fr. Joseph (José Maria) de Viveiros, C.R. was born in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Azores, Portugal to his parents John and Maria das Merces. They moved to North Bay ON where he attended Catholic Schools. It was at his high school, Scollard Hall that he met the Resurrectionists and would later enter them on August 15, 1987. He was ordained to the priesthood on May 1, 1992. Fr. Joseph is passionate about being a life-long learner, continuing to grow in his faith, his CR community, Liturgy, Catholic Education/Formation and cooking.
